gathering at josh and shelly's
thanks for everyone who came to study 2 Peter last friday and celebrating the graduates (too bad manson had prom that night). a couple of you even came out to eat southwestern cuisine and watch the opera with us on saturday too! lots of youth are on vacation or out of town, so lets remember them as well as natasha, valerie and jeremy as they are taking part in Christian youth in action as well.
this friday we will be gathering at our apartment again where we have fit over 30 of you at one time! we will have a time of refreshments and games. please feel free to bring food, snacks, games and most importantly: your friends! this should be the third gathering at our apartment, here is the directions and address again. feel free to come by around 7pm! the next morning we have our church open house too, please come and welcome the youth in the area and those who will be dropping by the church that night! manson and edmond are helping me with the outdoor music that day and if you are also interested in helping, let me know as soon as you can because we are practicing this week.i also have the prizes from world vision for this year, feel free to see me this saturday (at the open house) or on sunday to get the prizes. i'll be holding a baptism class that will be open to anyone who is thinking of being baptized and our baptismal candidate as well. if you want to attend the baptism class, please let me know ASAP so we can work out a time. shelly and i will see you all this friday!
