YF the gathering at scotiabank place on saturday

first of all thank you everyone for an amazing retreat, there are a few of you missing in this picture - but natasha and jen have uploaded over a hundred pictures on facebook already, so feel free to take a peek there! it was really encouraging watching everyone pitch in and serve one another this weekend. each of you served on cooking and cleaning teams and helped set up for sessions, devotion times etc. it was a great time and thank you all for setting examples and serving, i wish i took some pictures of you guys helping out in the kitchen for your folks :) please remember all the prayer requests that were shared and pray for one another throughout the weeks, and if there is more that you want to share please feel free to approach shelly and i and anyone in the fellowship!

we will be meeting this saturday for ottawa's annual gathering which is hosted by city-wide worship and prayer. thousands in the ottawa area gather each year to worship together, h2o is planning on attending as well. "The Gathering 2007 will bring together the Church in this region for an evening of worship – moving past age, ethnicity, denomination and language – to raise one voice in unity. We’ll celebrate together through interactive worship and through God’s Holy Word. admission is entirely free, however they are accepting donations that will go to Jericho Road Christian Ministries, who helps bring "hope and healing to Ottawa’s homeless by providing food and shelter, as well as helping them to both build life skills and re-integrate with society and their families." directions to scotiabank place, parking is free, and the oc transpo is providing shuttle service on 403 for this event (more oc info). more information at worshipandprayer.ca. if you look closely, you can see some of our YF members from last year in a picture on the official website.

please e-mail me right away if you are planning on attending! please meet at the scotiabank main foyer (just inside the doors) at 6:30-6:45pm. perhaps your whole family can attend together! hope to see you this saturday!
