YF Nehemiah study this Friday (Important TC info!)

thanks for coming to learn from nehemiah's example of prayer and our spiritual gifts sharing on sunday. we had the opportunity to hear from the leadership retreat students about what their gifts are and how they intend to serve the church with them. we still have a couple of people to hear from, hopefully at sunday school this week.

this friday we will continue our study in nehemiah with chapter 2. feel free to read ahead and come prepared on friday. pop-a-baloon-a-palooza has been moved to january 30th to coincide with the end of your exams! WOO! remember to bring your friends and prepare to have a lot of fun :) please bring your Bibles and prepare your heart so that we can see how this passionate leader made so much of an impact!

TC is coming up and TC forms must be printed http://www.afc-ca.org/TC2009 and RETURNED to me by sunday, february 1st or you will have to arrange for your own ride and place to stay. there are two forms JR (grades 9-10) and SR (grades 11-12), fill out the grade that you are in. transportation (buses) and a place to accommodate all our groups has been arranged (its a mini-Getaway in TC as the nights you will be able to spend together), please attach a $105 cheque payable to "OCYM" or "Ottawa Chinese Youth Ministerium" to your form. very short form and there is no reason you can't fill it out and bring it in before then :)
