YF "a new year" introduction this Friday
congrats to neva's team of maria, hillary, jenny and lynda who won this year's amazing race! the first team was only 3 minutes ahead of second place and 9 minutes ahead of last place! it's pretty amazing that you can be that close in such a long race. for those of you with the video's please e-mail me the scares and timbit vids :)
this friday, we wanted to introduce the new year and invite your friends! just wanted to have a kind of informal evening where we can get to know each other and the friends you bring. we'll talk about our upcoming fall retreat and teen's conference in the winter as well as what kind of fellowship we want to see develop over the course of the year. we'll also look at our YF covenant or promise to each other and talk about where we want to go. if you have any chips or snacks you would like to bring, please bring them. more details are included in the e-mail.see you this friday!
