YF Sharing this Friday! (How has God impacted you?)
I love you all! Praise God for an amazing week in Toronto!!! My voice is still as bad as it was last Friday, but it was worth it to see how much God has been working in your lives! Personally, I want to thank you all for the late talks, prayers and everything, God really encouraged me through you guys - your words, your enthusiasm and the changes that have been evident in your lives over these years! It’s been awesome to see how Christ has changed your lives! Continue to remember all the late talks, prayers and how God impacted you at TC, because we want to share that with each other and everyone has a voice to share of God’s faithfulness. Lots of you want to talk etc, know that our house is always open – just set up a time! J
This Friday for YF (27th) will be a sharing time about our TC experiences, the junior and senior conferences were very different and I truly feel that everyone would be encouraged by hearing from one another. We STRONGLY encourage you (whether you went to TC or not) all to commit to coming and sharing how God impacted you at TC, or in the past couple of months/year etc. I really feel like the Spirit is doing something incredible in our YF, so please come ready to share and be open! This Sunday (29th), YF’ers will lead worship and share during the English Worship service (in place of a sermon!), please do your best to attend the English worship and you can even try to incorporate your TC shirt into your formal dress that day, I provided an idea for the guys, but don’t know how the girls can do it! Also, this Sunday, if you feel that God has placed upon your heart to share to the congregation, let me know ASAP.
here is an application for this year’s Oujé-Bougoumou trip. We’ve been praying and looking forward to continuing our ministry with them! This is an amazing opportunity to serve and take action while being blessed by an amazing Cree community! God has really transformed lives (Cree youth and us!) over the course of the trip. Please prayerfully consider if God is asking you to serve at Oujé with us!
No Other Name is coming up uber-quick (Good Friday (April 10th), plus the early bird deadline is April 1st, register at http://www.noothername.net. Since you save money, all the Chinese churches should be registered by now J It’s really an awesome event! Let me know you registered as well!
Coffeehouse is coming up on May 22nd, that’s quick! I know a lot of you are involved in it already, but we are looking for everyone’s involvement. Since we know that time is tight for you guys, we will use our Sunday School time this week to help you get the ball rolling. Lots of people have some pretty sweet ideas for skits, clips, sharing etc. Neva/Jeff and the student team want to get them together! start praying about who you can invite to the coffeehouse too!
