Engage week!
(From Monday) Today is the start of Engage! We've been praying and working towards this for 18 months and need you to join us in prayer as well. As part of the city planning committee, I have never felt more a part of the big picture of youth ministry, I am so encouraged that you have (and committed to) inviting all these friends!This whole week is ENGAGE YOUR WORLD (official info on http://www.engagenow.ca/, these are city-wide events so please arrange for you (and your friends) transportation for the week! On the Friday night, I would advise being at the Metropolitan Bible Church by 6:30pm to ensure you can sit with your friends (GO DIRECTLY TO THE MET BIBLE CHURCH on Friday Directions), it may not be possible to sit together at the event and many of you may be split up if your friend decides to respond at the front of the stage. You may also be leaving at different times, so due to the logistics of such a large city event, PLEASE STAY WITH YOUR FRIENDS, don't lose each other and arrange the times for your departure with your parents (or the bus schedule) :) If the event goes longer you can use your cell phones to contact parents. The planned ending time is 9:15-9:30pm but I can foresee the possibility of it going longer as it is a large event).
PLEASE continue praying for one another, feel free to add your name/your friend's names to the list so we can pray together. We are still praying for this event daily! (I've e-mailed the full list to you guys)
