Logos Land this Saturday

hey everyone!!! thanks for coming out for YF this friday even though i know many of you were studying really hard that week. we just started our study of 2 peter and continued our study of galatians this morning.

this is an important early notification because YF will be moved to this saturday, june 23rd. we are planning to have an end of the school year celebration at logos land in cobden, ontario! it just so happens that this saturday will be free, which means access to the water park, lake trampoline, beach etc. since pure energy, kfc and the mandarin congregation are planning to go to logos land, we want to make this a family event! some families have children in kfc, pure energy and YF... encourage your families to come!!! because this event is a little further than usual, you NEED to confirm who is coming by this tuesday, june 19 at the LATEST. if you don't let me know by tuesday, i won't be arranging a ride for you. if you have found your own ride, please let me know as well! anyways hope to see all of you come out after exam week for a day in the sun (bring your sunscreen, bathing suits (or clothes that will get wet) etc. please bring your own packed lunch or some money for lunch.

we will be meeting at the logos land entrance at 10:30am, once again you MUST have your parents fill out this summer events form. they have already been informed about this form, ensure that your parents have signed it and return it to me when you see me at logos land. have a good week with exams and come and celebrate with us on saturday! see you then!

YF Relay for Life and 30 Hour Famine Thanksgiving

first off, i am so proud of you all!!! you have participated in community ministry AND have served others across the globe and made an impact that is larger than you can even imagine. just our YF (don't have numbers for the combined ministerium yet) has raised $2760.31 for hungry families. that means that according to world vision, the money raised from CCCO YF group can feed eight families for an entire year. Praise the Lord! the fruit of this is tremendous, not to mention setting an example for community ministry by gathering sooo much food for the food bank, blessing the seniors, picking up trash and praying for the community/famine while fasting!

remember how we have been discussing the relay for life as well? the lings shared during YF a few weeks ago and now we have the opportunity to show our support for the relay for life and help the fight against cancer! shelly and i are fundraising and running and tracy and company has arranged to make t-shirts at our apartment this week for the event. please show up and run against cancer while showing your support!!! please have your parents fill out this form and return it at the event. make sure to bring running clothes and warm clothes to be prepared for the weather.
