YF Bible study this Friday

i know you are all really busy with exams and are in crunch mode right now, but it was encouraging to see many of you take a break and come out to show your support for this year's relay for life as we joined ling and friends. it was great to hear from michael and neva during sunday school in preparation for the trip. the worship, crafts, games, testimonies, devotions, testimonies and supplies are almost all ready - please continue to pray for our mission trip to northern quebec next week.

speaking of trip preparations. this week for YF we will have our last devotion sharings from natasha, valerie and jennifer on how Christ has exemplified the fruits of the Spirit and how the fruits can be lived out at home. afterwards, we will continue our study of acts chapters 19 and 20. so please bring your Bibles as we continue to discuss the fruits of the Spirit and the book of acts.

things to keep in mind, very soon we hope to start renovation work on our youth room. currently, uncle roger (yip) has been really awesome about helping and is even drafting floor plans for the renovation and we are hoping that we (youth) will be able to work with some adults/h2o in the major renovation of the room in july so that we can use it for our events and spend discipleship week in the room! so get ready with your paint and decoration ideas! it'll be really awesome to have our own space to make our own with couches and all!

let me know how you've been doing as well.
we'll pray for you guys during your exams this week, i've heard from a few of you that you have more than one on the same day too!
for those on the mission team, please meet a little earlier (7) for prayer
see you on friday!

YF Bible study this Friday

we finalized the impact numbers earlier today and looks like it will be around $2500, so that's going to help a lot of families receive cows, chickens, goats, fishing kits, garden seeds, soccer balls, books etc. thanks to all of you for putting time and effort into helping these families. rest assured that what you have done for others (even when nobody knows) will be rewarded in abundance! hope your summatives, tests and exam prep is going well. i'm sure many of you have had your noses in the homework for awhile now.

this friday for yf, we are continuing our study on the book of acts and taking a closer look at chapters 17 and 18. so please bring your Bibles and try to read ahead to prepare for our discussion.

also for sunday school this week and next week, we will have some of our YF mission team that is going to northern quebec lead us regarding the fruits of the Spirit in preparation for the camp. please come and support them this sunday as they share! if you are planning on baptism this july, please get your forms in by this friday or sunday (latest). let us know how you are doing or if you want to talk over lunch or coffee! see you this friday!
