YF Guys/Girls night at homes this Friday (NoN registration today!)
thanks for being a part of another amazing weekend!! friday night was a really encouraging (and honest) time of sharing and prayer, God is really doing some amazing things in the fellowship and i pray that we continue to make God and our relationships/fellowship our top priorities. it was so great to have our voices heard this past worship service too! lots of adults were really encouraged by your sharing, you teach us! thanks for being such incredible youth as well! i heard from a few people that sunday's second coffeehouse meeting was great too, with lots of people involved :) that's what im talkin bout *in my that's what im talkin bout voice*
this friday, we decided to do something special and have the gatherings at homes (
right after school! as soon as you can get there until 10pm). the
GUYS will be meeting at my place (address in your e-mail) ) and the
GIRLS will be meeting at Rae-Anne's place (in your email) this will allow us to have more time and freedom to share/read/pray and just hang out. we do ask that if you can maybe bring $2 to help offset food costs and snacks that would be great! we are praying for you, the Spirit is doing some amazing things! if you haven't filled out the
outside events form, do so. PLEASE SET UP CAR POOLS with YF'ers in the same area as you (as in only one car needs to come to barrhaven from orleans etc.)

ouje-bougoumou trip is quickly approaching! for those who have been praying about going, please fill out
this quick form ASAP. it's a big decision and involves preparation, but those that have served on this trip last year know that labor for God is never in vain.
it's also been great to meet with you all during the week to, if you are free - give us a shout to talk. we'll set it up.
YF Sharing this Friday! (How has God impacted you?)
I love you all! Praise God for an amazing week in Toronto!!! My voice is still as bad as it was last Friday, but it was worth it to see how much God has been working in your lives! Personally, I want to thank you all for the late talks, prayers and everything, God really encouraged me through you guys - your words, your enthusiasm and the changes that have been evident in your lives over these years! It’s been awesome to see how Christ has changed your lives! Continue to remember all the late talks, prayers and how God impacted you at TC, because we want to share that with each other and everyone has a voice to share of God’s faithfulness. Lots of you want to talk etc, know that our house is always open – just set up a time! J
This Friday for YF (27th) will be a sharing time about our TC experiences, the junior and senior conferences were very different and I truly feel that everyone would be encouraged by hearing from one another. We STRONGLY encourage you (whether you went to TC or not) all to commit to coming and sharing how God impacted you at TC, or in the past couple of months/year etc. I really feel like the Spirit is doing something incredible in our YF, so please come ready to share and be open!
This Sunday (29th), YF’ers will lead worship and share during the English Worship service (in place of a sermon!), please do your best to attend the English worship and you can even try to incorporate your TC shirt into your formal dress that day, I provided an idea for the guys, but don’t know how the girls can do it! Also, this Sunday, if you feel that God has placed upon your heart to share to the congregation, let me know ASAP.

This is an amazing opportunity to serve and take action while being blessed by an amazing Cree community! God has really transformed lives (Cree youth and us!) over the course of the trip. Please prayerfully consider if God is asking you to serve at Oujé with us!

Coffeehouse is coming up on May 22nd, that’s quick! I know a lot of you are involved in it already, but we are looking for everyone’s involvement. Since we know that time is tight for you guys, we will use our Sunday School time this week to help you get the ball rolling. Lots of people have some pretty sweet ideas for skits, clips, sharing etc. Neva/Jeff and the student team want to get them together! start praying about who you can invite to the coffeehouse too!

YF Families Feud this Friday (TC information!)
hey everyone!
that was a really great Bible study experience with everyone last week. nehemiah 4 was packed with practical application that we should be on guard and rebuilding in our own hearts at all time. it was also nice to have that time to stay behind and chat with the snacks that the cheung family provided us with :)
it's going to be a really packed march break coming up!
this friday (mar 13th) will be 'families feud' night with your parents, your parents should be well aware of this event now (since you told them several weeks ago, right!!?!?!) you will need to bring one of your parents and have them bring their A game :) there are multiple purposes for the evening that i'll talk about once the evening is coming to a close... but you will be partnered with your parent throughout the evening. we will also be joined by the pure energy group, so if you have siblings, both your parents may have to come :)
this weekend we will be leaving for TC as well, all the information you will need for that will be in your e-mail. have an awesome week! the march break 'light at the end of the tunnel' is coming up soon! let us know how you are doing! i'll see you (and your parent(s) on friday and all week in toronto!
